Aramco Pakistan UI UX Case Study

Overview

Aramco is a global leader in integrated energy and chemicals. In collaboration with IAL Saatchi & Saatchi, I designed the UI for Aramco Pakistan’s digital presence. This project focused on introducing Aramco’s retail excellence—including A-Stop convenience stores, professional Car Wash services, and ProForce lubricants—to the Pakistani consumer market.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was “Global Strength, Local Relevance.” I needed to maintain Aramco’s prestigious global brand identity (The “Aramco Blue and Green”) while creating an interface that felt accessible and informative for a local audience exploring new high-end fuel and retail services for the first time.

The Solution:

I developed a modular, service-oriented UI that prioritizes transparency and convenience. By utilizing a clean, white-space-heavy aesthetic punctuated by bold action-oriented photography, the design establishes immediate trust and clarity.

Key UX/UI Pillars

  • Multi-Service Architecture: I designed distinct landing pages for a diverse range of sub-brands (A-Stop, ProForce, Valvoline). This ensures that a user looking for a quick snack at A-Stop has a different, more “retail-friendly” experience than a mechanic looking for ProForce technical specs.
  • Localized Retail Integration: Featured a robust “Station Locator” on the Home Page, acknowledging that the primary user goal is moving from digital discovery to a physical Aramco location.
  • Performance-Driven Visuals: For the ProForce and Oil Change sections, I used high-contrast, dynamic imagery to evoke the feeling of engine power and reliability, appealing to both everyday drivers and car enthusiasts.
  • The “A-Stop” Experience: Designed the A-Stop section with a lifestyle focus—emphasizing freshness and “on-the-go” convenience to differentiate it from standard gas station shops.
  • Corporate Integrity & Heritage: The “About” section was designed to showcase Aramco’s 90 years of experience, using a timeline-style layout to build authority in a new market.

Results

A professional, high-performance digital gateway that successfully launched Aramco’s retail brand in Pakistan. The design balances enterprise-level security with consumer-level ease of use, providing a seamless transition for the brand into a new regional territory.
